COVID-19 PROTOCOL / POLICIES

Before Your Appointment

Must arrive to your appointment with clean eyes/brow area/face (no makeup or mascara). Also, do not curl your lashes if you’re getting lash extensions!

When you arrive at the studio, send us a text to let us know. If you travelled by car please wait in your car and if not, please wait outside in designated area until we call/text for you to come in. DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY as we have limited seating in our reception area.

Doors will be locked so please wait for us to open the door for you.

Bring your own mask. MASKS ARE MANDATORY during the entire service. If you do not have one. we can provide one for a small fee.

We will no longer be able to provide you with a blanket, You may bring your own small blanket or dress warm if you tend to get cold but limit your personal belongings.

Please DO NOT bring outside food or drinks (except bottled water) to your appointment.

All current and new clients will be asked Covid-19 pre-screening questions upon arrival prior to service. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER FORM.

As we try to work with this new normal and added precautions, please note that your appointment time may take longer than usual. Thank you for your understanding in advance.

Guests, children & Pets

No guests or children are allowed until further notice. Pets are not permitted due to safety, health and hygienic reasons and cannot be left unattended in the waiting area during procedures. Please arrange alternative care.

Cell Phones

You will be required to clean your cell phone with 70% alcohol upon arrival if you plan to use it while in the studio.

Payment

We accept cash and e-transfers only. If you are paying in cash, please bring exact amount as we will not be able to provide change to limit cash handling.

arrival time

Please arrive on time. If you are going to be late, please call us. Just keep in mind that this will cut into your appointment time.

We understand unforeseen circumstances happen and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you’re more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be treated as a NO SHOW and you may not be able to rebook another appointment.

Cancellation

A 48 hour notice is required to change/cancel for all appointments. If you change/cancel within less than 48 hours, a $25 fee will apply at your next appointment. We respect your time, please respect ours.

Sick

If you are feeling sick, coming down with a cold/flu, or have recently been in contact with someone showing/had covid-19 symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.

If you missed your appointment without notice, your appointment will be treated as a NO SHOW and you may not be able to rebook another appointment.

Policy

If you have any signs of cold/flu like symptoms (as described below), you must reschedule your appointment.

– dry cough
– shortness of breath
– sore throat
– runny nose
– fever
– headache
– tiredness
– aches and pains

If you have travelled within or outside of Canada or have been in contact with someone that has travelled in the last 14 days, you must not book an appointment until you have self-isolated for at least 14 days.

Our Procedures

  • All staff and clients must wear a mask at all times.
  • clients must wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
  • clients must not bring outside food or drinks (except bottled water) to their appointment.
  • clients are to wait in their car or wait outside on designated markings until we call/text.
  • during service, there will be no talking to limit the spread of respiratory droplets.
  • blankets will be removed. if required, clients will have to bring in their own.

Our Safety Plan

Workspace

  • Daily meetings at the beginning of each day to review and adjust our procedures as needed to maintain the highest safety standards.
  • Stations will have sufficient distance.
  • Reception/waiting area will be closed.
  • Every person that enters the studio must wash/sanitize their hands upon arrival.
  • We have limited the number of appointments accepted per day to limit the number of people entering the studio at a given time.
  • Signage is placed outside studio where clients can wait and enter safely.
  • Retail items will be within viewing distance in a closed off area. Customers are to request prices verbally with staff members.
  • testers will not be available.
  • beverages/snacks will not be offered to clients at this time.
  • Clients can pay via e-transfer or cash (in exact amount, not requiring any change).
Client Management
  • Are pre-screened with Covid-19 questions by a staff member upon arrival.
  • are to wait outside in their car or designated area before their appointment.
  • must arrive alone.
  • must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon arrival.
  • We do not accept group bookings.
  • Walk-in appointments are not accepted.
  • Physical contact is not allowed, ie. hand shaking, hugging etc.

Team member providing personal service

  • Must wear face mask and/or face shield at all times.
  • Must tie their hair back and away from their face.
  • Dirty towels are immediately placed into a bin. They are then taken to the laundromat to be washed.
  • All disposables must be discarded immediately after each appointment per client.

Surfaces, Tools and Equipment

  • The floors will be sanitized at the start and end of each day.
  • All touch surfaces are sanitized after each client throughout the day.
  • All station will be sanitized at the start and end of each day as well as in between clients.
  • Sanitation time has been added in between each client.
  • Retail is not to be touched unless it is to be purchased.
